Dynamic Design & Manufacturing, Inc. was recently audited by Orion Registrar and has been recommended for registration to ISO 9001:2000. According to Paul Burck, President of Orion Registrar, Dynamic Design & Manufacturing is one of the first metal fabricators in the greater Longmont / Boulder area to receive recommendation for this latest release of the ISO 9000 standards.
ISO 9000 is a series of quality management systems standards created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a federation of 132 national standard bodies. The ISO 9000 quality management standards are not specific to products, but apply to the processes that create them. ISO 9000 registration is carried out by registrars, accredited organizations that review a company's quality manual and other documentation to ensure that they meet the standard. Then, they audit the company's processes to ensure that the system described in the documentation is in place and is effective. Conformance to ISO 9000 enables an organization to establish, document and maintain a system for ensuring the output of a process.
Dynamic Design & Manufacturing is a custom precision metal fabricator with laser processing, CNC punching and machining, rolling, stamping, EDM and welding capabilities. Founded in 1983, the company is located in Niwot, CO, and serves the Front Range providing high-quality, tight-tolerance prototype and production parts and assemblies to a variety of markets including medical, aerospace, telecommunications and process control instrumentation.
